Robotics Club
Each week, students will build and code a different project using LEGO Spike Prime robotics kits and the accompanying programming app. This is a fun introduction to coding, motors and sensors using engaging projects.
Robot Club is limited to 6 participants each session. Sign up for one or all six. Recommended for students in 4th-8th grade.

Skill Details: | No experience required, however students familiar with coding using Scratch, or LEGO Spike Prime, will also enjoy this workshop. |
Materials Included: | LEGO Spike Prime set, Chromebook and iPad will be provided for use during the session |

Instructor Bio: | Taught by Erin Laundry, the owner of Bottomless Bricks. She is excited to bring this hands-on STEM experience to local students in Berkshire County! Some of Erin's qualifications include: -Completed the Teacher Certification course for “Coding and Computational Thinking for LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime” through Carnegie Mellon’s Robotics Academy (2021) -Completed LEGO® Education’s Professional Development Competency Training including Pedagogy, Classroom Management, 21st Century Skills, and STEAM Concepts -Contestant on Season 3 of the TV show LEGO Masters -Experience as a private music instructor for children and adults with learning differences -Currently coaching a First LEGO League robotics team |
